miraDry
For underarm excessive sweating, doctors can now use a handheld medical device called miraDry to zap and destroy sweat glands.

The device cools the top of your skin while it heats the under-layers using electromagnetic energy. The heating kills the sweat glands and they don’t grow back. This can only be done in the underarms because there's a nice protective layer of fat there. For best results, people usually need two treatments about three months apart. There is little discomfort during the procedure and you can resume normal activities soon afterwards. Some ice and over-the-counter painkillers may, however, be recommended.
Search the International Hyperhidrosis Society's Physician Finder if you want to talk to a medical professional to see if this hyperhidrosis treatment is right for you.
